Thanks to pop culture, sexual fluidity is on the rise. If you’re a woman who has watched “Orange is the New Black” without experiencing some level of curiosity, you have a strong will indeed. A new movement of women who consider themselves straight but still sleep with other women is on the rise. Read below to learn about the women exploring their lady-loving desires.

A new movement Emerging is a new class of women who don’t consider themselves lesbians but still have sex with women. The new trend is thriving in the party capitals of the world.

Skirt Club Skirt Club is a haven for women who want to experience lady loving in a sexy, safe, and elegant environment. Think silk slips, expensive lingerie, champagne flutes, and women who make at least $75,000 a year.

London beginnings Geneviève LeJeune founded Skirt Club in London. A bicurious 34-year-old who was a regular on London’s underground sex party scene. LeJeune was unimpressed by these grimy play parties and decided to create something a bit more posh, and something that was also for women.

Ambiance issues "These events are usually organized by men, and they tended to be missing some finesse or luxury component," LeJeune tells Mic. "They were missing champagne, good music, posh furnishing. There were actually plastic mattresses placed in the corners of rooms.”

Global takeover Skirt Club now takes place in London, Miami, and New York City. Women across the globe are enjoying the new lifestyle choice.

A safe zone Skirt Club filled a void for bisexual or bicurious women who needed a safe space to explore their desires, says Hayley Quinn, a regular speaker at Skirt Club parties. "I had spent so many years being bicurious and having no idea what the outlet for that was,” she tells Mic. "I didn't feel comfortable with the lesbian scene and didn't identify in that way. Skirt Club is saying you can kiss a girl, you can have sex with a woman, and it doesn't change who you are as a person.”

Lines blur "We're entering a new era of sexual fluidity," LeJeune says, explaining that Skirt Club is for women who want to explore their lady-loving side. "Media has a lot to do with this too. It piques people's interest. It's now cool to be a bi girl.”

Bi is the new black Many Skirt Club attendees credited “Orange is the New Black” and bisexual celebrities like Cara Delevigne with awakening their curiosity. Lots of girls want their very own Alex/Piper action –– without the incarceration, of course.

Freebie Many women who attend Skirt Club have serious boyfriends, even husbands, and are given free passes to explore their same-sex attraction.

It's not all fun and games Some of the women who joined Skirt Club did have serious problems with their partner. One woman who talked to Mic revealed she ended her last relationship because her partner didn't approve of the sexual exploration.

Exclusivity Skirt Club has a heavy screening process, and members are vetted on everything from age to looks. While critics find this discriminatory, the organizers stand by the selective standards.

Finding the right crowd Skirt Club initially had an somewhat open policy and developed a mismatched crowd.

Wicked ways? Skirt Club detractors claim the club encourages cheating and reinforces established ideas about what kinds of femininity are ideal. Some even say that the bisexual or bicurious women who partake are “greedy.”

No labels Skirt Club is also decidedly "not a club for lesbians,” LeJeune told U.K. publication The Sun, adding "Most women are attracted to other women. It doesn’t mean they’re gay.”

What happens at Skirt Club… “Skirt Club is a place where they can have a one-off wild night, then go home to their partners,” LeJeune adds. Wild, indeed.
